In a shocking incident, a Mahindra Thar SUV stuck in an inclined position on an electric pole in Gurugram, Haryana. The SUV was seen slanting against the pole.
The driver of the Thar, a woman identified as Aanchal Gupta, lost control of the vehicle after it was hit by a Honda Amaze in the Cyber City area. The impact was so huge that it ended up climbing the pole. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed at a nearby petrol pump on Golf Course Road Extension.
Aanchal Gupta said that she left the petrol pump after refueling and as she took a turn, a speeding Honda Amaze hit her car from behind. She lost control of the vehicle and it climbed the pole. Aanchal said that locals helped her come down and she had to jump to exit the car. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
There were two men inside the Honda Amaze who fled the scene after hitting the Thar.
The authorities were able to remove the SUV safely without any further damage.
The Gurugram Police went to the spot soon after the accident, and an investigation into the matter has been launched.
