His mother, Lisa, notes that Laurent has a clear preference for bright, lively colors, shunning the “boring” hues. Despite the commercial success, Lisa ensures that Laurent’s artistic freedom remains a priority. “It’s totally up to him when and what he paints,” she says, noting that Laurent sometimes takes breaks from his studio, just like any other toddler would from their toys.
